Lake Iseo has a mild climate. It used to have long and hot summers and short winters. Due to the recent climate change, there can be some bounces during the season, but generally, the weather is sunny between May and September with temperature that will not dip below 20°C. In the middle of summer (July and August) temperature can hit 30°C and over. In winter, the temperatures stay around 5°C but can also drop under zero in the cold nights.
Spring and Summer
During spring and summer you can enjoy the lake at its best. Long walks in the woods, cycling along the lake, exploring the lake with the ferry, relaxing at the beach or the swimming pool, enjoy an ice cream in one of the many gelatiere, or eat as a local at the “sagre” (village food festival).
Autumn and Winter
Autumn and winter are very quiet seasons at Lake Iseo. If you love skiing and snowboarding, then late November to February are the best months to come. The closest slopes are only 10 km away from Pisogne (Val Palot).
