Walk to the Little Church in the Woods of Bossico

This walk will take you through Bossico pinewood, where you can immerse yourself in nature, relax and rejuvenate your mind.

Chiesa dei Caduti, Bossico

The Chiesetta dei caduti was built in 1973 in memory of the people of the village that died during the wars. In the area surrounding the little church you find tables, barbecues and a fountain with drinking water.

First, the road leads you into the woods, then opens up to a panoramic view of Lake Iseo and finally arrives at the little church Chiesetta dei Caduti.

You can either start this walk from the village of Bossico (which adds an extra 30 minutes), or you can park your car at the parking of Viale Sette Colli ( 45.830445, 10.058577). Once you have reached the Agriturismo 5 Abeti, take the path to the left.

Where this walk starts

The road will go downhill until you find a fork. Here, follow the sign “Sentiero Flavio Tasca, Chiesa dei Caduti” and take the path to the right.

When the road leaves the woods, the view opens onto the mountains and some meadows. Lake Iseo is visible at a distance.

On the way, you will find a fountain with drinking water.

When you come across a fork, keep following the signs for Chiesetta dei Caduti and take the path to the right. In less than 10 minutes you have arrived!
